All About Me: Meet Ms. Krista <\/strong>( Krista-Marie Goss)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hi, I\u2019m Krista! I\u2019ve been dancing for as long as I can remember. My love for movement began when my mom first taught me as a little girl. Over the years, I had the unique opportunity to grow up in her dance studio, learning not only the art of dance but also the heart it takes to run a creative space. I soon found myself diving into school musicals, acting classes, and singing lessons, sparking a lifelong love for the performing arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After high school, I trained for a year at Mission Dance Centre before realizing how much I missed acting and singing. That realization led me to the Canadian College of Performing Arts in Victoria, where I moved, knowing no one and completed a two-year Enriched Performing Arts Diploma. During and after college, I performed in several theatre productions, even throughout the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the world shut down, I made the move to Vancouver to continue pursuing dance, film, and music. Soon after arriving in Richmond, I started working as a dance instructor and began acting in film as a background performer. I also became a performer with Enchanted Events, bringing magic to life as a Disney Princess at birthday parties and community events. Through this experience, I was invited to teach children\u2019s classes for the City of Richmond and later joined the Pacific Autism Centre for a seasonal, 10-week adults dance module.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have extensive experience working with children\u2014including those with autism, ADHD, and other exceptionalities. As someone who experienced anxiety growing up, I deeply understand how important it is to create a safe, supportive environment for children. I\u2019ve seen firsthand how dance can be a powerful tool to help ease anxiety, just as it helped me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, I continue to share my love of performing and connecting with others through teaching at the Richmond Arts Centre, South Arm Community Centre and hosting trivia nights at a local pub. I\u2019m also represented by Red Raven Talent, booking roles on Vertical Series, Commercial and Stand in Work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
